This gallery is a collection of up close and personal photos of skin and fabric. The textures, lines, and curves in each photo may lead each viewer to conjure up different thoughts, evoke different emotions, and lead you to guess what you are really seeing. How well do you know your body? Are you daring enough to show it off?

I want you to take photos of your own body. Grab a camera and start working down your body, as close as you can get. How do you do it? Read below for a brief tutorial. Your photos will stay anonymous and you can chuckle while you have your friends guess what body part is yours.

Shooting in Macro mode

Almost all digital point and shoot cameras have a macro mode. This feature is labeled by the flower icon seen on the left. Press the button to toggle macro mode, and with a bright lighting environment, you can take extremely closeup photos of your body. Toggle the flash to be disabled, as it won't work well in macro mode. Also be sure to hold the camera as steady as possible when indoors, or prop the camera on a stationary object.

Macro mode is not necessary for this gallery, as long as you are showing part of your body, far away or up close. Feel free to upload original photos or full body images if you want Bodyshots to custom crop and edit it.
